My Name is Micah Covert, I have lived in the Redding area all my life. I met and married my wife Toni in 1997 and have two boys, Gabriel who is 7 and Aaron who is 5. We built our home in Cottonwood in 2005 and we support our community and local school.
Construction became my career in 1989, right out of high school. I enjoy working with my hands and seeing a project go from start to completion. It brings me great satisfaction in seeing a finished product.
My experience includes both residential and commercial construction sites, from jobs as small as a pump house to erecting steel commercial buildings. I had the unique opportunity to work with the US Forrest Service rebuilding historical sites including lookout towers in the Trinity and Siskiyou Mountains. I also donate time and labor to non profit organizations and Habitat for Humanity.
I have ran and supervised a property preservation company for the North State dealing with foreclosures and repos. Working with different banks and Realtors I know how important it is to have the job done right and on time.
Using a small company matters because my name and work are important to ensure further jobs and clients. I am always directly involved with all the work performed, and when other trade professionals are needed I use the best in Redding. A big company will send out an employee to do the job and may overlook something because its time to quit and get their paycheck. I pay attention to the needs and wants of the clients and keep an eye on even the smallest details. My company is formed to have a low overhead so it allows me to have affordable rates.
